The Garfield County Fair & Rodeo Scholarship Fund exists to gather donations for the scholarship program available to the Garfield County Fair & Rodeo royalty. The scholarship supports the traditional part of the rodeo culture which is a youth development program designed to teach leadership skills, horsemanship, and public speaking and business skills to its participants.

Scholarships are never to be made to individual persons but are sent directly annually to the financial aid office, bursar, etc. of a selected college or university where the recipient from the Royalty Program is verifiably enrolled.
