The Ruthie Parrish Memorial Scholarship is created in the loving memory of its namesake.  Ruthie Parrish was a cherished member of our community who left us too soon but we know lives on in everyone that she touched!  She was kind and encouraging to everyone that she met.  She spread joy at every given opportunity.  She became very involved in the Grizzly Hockey program and then became a lifelong supporter.  To honor her and continue the legacy of things that she loved, this scholarship is offered to high school senior hockey players with a GPA of 3.0 or above headed to pursue higher education.  Successful applicants are those who demonstrate a positive impact on themselves and others due to their association with hockey as well as individuals that exemplify Ruthie's talent for putting joy into the world.
